To promote reading and enrich the cultural atmosphere of residential public spaces, Ruentex Group has brought together TSUTAYA Bookstore, Ruentex Interior Design, and Ruentex Development to jointly create a community library within a Ruentex residential project. This thoughtfully designed space blends aesthetic quality with functional value, featuring a curated selection of books across diverse themes, allowing residents to enjoy the pleasures of reading right at their doorstep.
With extensive curation expertise and a global perspective, TSUTAYA Bookstore has carefully assembled a reading list that spans literature, art, design, and lifestyle. Among the highlighted titles is Dreams Weigh More Than Pain: The Boxing Journey of Lin Yu-Ting, published in August. This book chronicles the journey of Lin Yu-Ting—world champion and Olympic gold medalist—capturing her relentless pursuit of dreams despite pain and setbacks, and embodying the spirit of resilience: “Even in the face of hardship, the weight of one’s dream drives us forward.” We hope this spirit resonates with residents, offering courage and inspiration in facing life’s challenges.
Ruentex Interior Design, known for its mastery in high-end residential aesthetics, has crafted a warm and design-driven reading environment. Meanwhile, Ruentex Development has integrated the library into the community’s shared facilities, making books and culture a natural part of everyday life.
Unlike traditional book donation drives, this collaboration did not rely on external fundraising. Instead, it represents a proactive initiative where the Group mobilized internal resources to take the lead in supporting reading as a public good. By combining Architecture × Design × Culture × the Power of Spirit, this cross-disciplinary effort has created a space that is both practical and inspirational, while also demonstrating the Group’s determination to actively engage in and lead social value initiatives.
